If you log in with your card reader without using the cable, you do not need to install any software and can log in to Online Banking on any browser-based device connected to the internet.
Follow the following instructions to log in with the card reader without cable:
- Go to , click on ‘Log in’ and select Individual Online Banking in the drop down menu. Click on ‘OK’ to confirm.
- Select the log-on method by clicking on ‘Card reader without cable’.
- Enter your 16-digit card number (printed on your log-on card) in the field ‘Log-on card number’.
- Activate the card reader by inserting your log-on card.
- ’Select function’ will be shown on the card reader display. Press ‘LOGIN’.
- A ’Challenge’ is displayed on the log-on page. Enter this number in the card reader. Press ‘OK’.
- ’Card PIN:’ is shown on the card reader display. Enter your login code. Press ‘OK’.
- A response code will be shown on the card reader display. Enter this number on the log-on page in the field ‘Response code’. Click on ‘Log on’.
You are now logged in and ready to use Handelsbanken Online Banking.
